For fall 2019, designer Jonathan Anderson merged form, function, beauty and humor to create another standout collection for Loewe. As the show notes read, "Born from obsessions of scrutiny and perfection, the collection approaches significations of desire with laser focus. Foregoing excess narrative, a singular conversation dictates the interaction between craft and silhouette." Sleek tailoring, pilgrim-like cuts and fuzzy boas all successfully coexisted in this collection. Here's everything else you need to know about the show.

Luxe?Leathers

Loewe is by nature a leather line, so it came as no surprise that there were several extremely lush example of leather in this collection. Case in point: brown and black leather shift dresses, details on outerwear and the Puzzle, Gate, Lazo and Lantern bags, some in new iterations.

Check?Mate

A bold checkerboard pattern appeared on a couple different garments, making a statement as the boldest print in the collection.

Maxi?Lengths

Every single skirt and dress in the collection was ankle length, save for a rare few. This season's silhouettes signaled a return to comfort and ease of wearability.

Fuzzy Wuzzy

There may have only been two examples of this in the entire collection, but they were also the most standout. A white fuzzy scarf and yellow one with a matching hat added a bit of fun and humor to Paris Fashion Week.

Haute?Hats

Hats are clearly having a moment this season. Labels from Marc Jacobs to Rochas have shown collections with slick toppers and Loewe sent models down the runway wearing hats that resembled an oddly appealing combination between the baseball cap and early 1400s headdresses.
